A Ukrainian community took part in an eco-initiative in Larnaca and Oroklini
Тhe Ukrainian community joined and contributed to the eco-initiative of the volunteer organisation Friendship Circle Cyprus and the Jewish community of Cyprus, which aimed to raise awareness of environmental concerns through a tree planting campaign.
Environmental issues are trans-boundary and impact all the inhabitants of our planet, regardless of citizenship, age, social status, etc.
It’s good to know that people’s environmental awareness is growing every year. Everyone had the opportunity to contribute to healthy mobility by planting greenery in Larnaca and Oroklini.
The new flourishing green spaces will provide a cosy space for recreation, social exchange and reconnecting people with nature.
