The Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Cyprus has been made aware of a communication disseminated on May 15 by the so-called Cyprus branch of the International Russophile Movement and the Coordination Council of Russian Compatriots, addressing European and Western nations.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
We unequivocally reject all accusations leveled against Ukraine regarding the destruction of a multi-story residential building in Belgorod on May 12, 2024.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
The mentioned \u201cAddress\u201d is viewed as yet another feeble attempt to divert attention from the numerous war crimes and atrocities committed by the Kremlin regime on Ukrainian soil.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Ordinary citizens of Russia, who have resisted indoctrination and managed to keep their sanity, have borne witness to the crimes of the Putin`s regime firsthand.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Under Putin\u2019s rule, Russian intelligence has honed its skills in orchestrating numerous covert terrorist operations against its citizens both inside the Russian Federation and all over the world.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
As to the circumstances of the incident in Belgorod, we cannot discount the possibility that it could have been instigated by Moscow. The true events in Belgorod should be determined by independent international experts.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
The Russian air defence system could be a reason for the house destruction, or another \u2018\u2019extraordinary landing\u2019\u2019 of high-explosive aerial bombs, with which Russian aviation attacks the border towns and villages of Ukraine.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
There have been a number of recent reports in Russia of \u00abunauthorized drops\u00bb of such aerial bombs from Russian aircrafts over the territory of the Belgorod region. Several incidents have already occurred in May. For example, on May 4th, a Russian aircraft dropped a 500kg bomb on Belgorod, damaging 30 private houses. On May 12th, a similar bomb fell on the territory of Razumnoye-54 village in the Belgorod region.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Russia\u2019s so-called \u00abSpecial Military Operation\u00bb has laid bare the brutal and predatory nature of the Russian government and its representatives.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Russia stands as the sole sponsor of terrorism and warmongering.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Since the beginning of Russia\u2019s large-scale aggression against Ukraine, thousands of Ukrainian civilians, including women, children, and the elderly, have tragically lost their lives.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
The toll of Russian aggression includes 12,287 killed (including 546 children) and 20,524 wounded civilians (including 1,337 children).<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Ukrainian children have borne the brunt of this conflict, with the highest number affected in Donetsk \u2014 529, Kharkiv \u2014 348, Kherson \u2014 150, Dnipropetrovsk \u2014 136, Kyiv \u2014 130, Zaporizhzhia \u2014 108, Mykolaiv \u2014 104.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

These figures do not even account for the temporarily occupied areas of Ukraine. Over 20 countries are conducting their own investigations or gathering evidence of Russia\u2019s war crimes in Ukraine.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The International Criminal Court has issued arrest warrants against Vladimir Putin and Maria Lvova-Belova for the committed war crimes of unlawful deportation of population (children) and of unlawful transfer of population (children) from occupied areas of Ukraine to the Russian Federation.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Even though, Russia does not stop committing its heinous crimes by sending a significant number of Ukrainian children, including orphans, children with disabilities, and those from low-income families to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol \u2013 under the guise of rehabilitation to use them as shields to cover the presence of Russian occupation forces.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In its brutal war against Ukraine Russia stoops as low to employing released and recruited criminals \u2014 murderers, maniacs, and rapists \u2014 pillaging villages and cities, assaulting and killing Ukrainian women and children.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Some shocking cases have been reported by the Permanent Representative of Ukraine during the UN Security Council meeting on \u201cMaintenance of peace and security of Ukraine\u201d on 14 May 2024: \u00abFor instance, recently the Russian media found in the Russian army two infamous murderers \u2014 cannibal Dmitry Malyshev, who murdered several people and ate the heart of one of them, and maniac Alexander Maslennikov, who killed and dismembered two women. It seems that these particular skills are currently in high demand in the Russian army. Therefore, instead of serving long prison sentences, both were recruited from their prison cells to the Russian army and sent to Ukraine to kill Ukrainians\u00bb.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Russia must be brought to justice for damaging and destroying civilian infrastructure facilities in Ukraine. Their number has exceeded 160,000 (161,014 sites, including 129,624 residential buildings, 3,194 educational and 754 medical institutions, 557 cultural and 184 religious buildings, and 6,220 water and electricity networks). More than 200 schools were destroyed and more than 1,600 schools were damaged.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
The international community is well aware of crimes committed by the Russian regime in Ukraine. And justice will inevitably be served.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
The pathetic attempts of the Russophile organizations to whitewash the crimes of the Russian regime are doomed to fail.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

We are confident that our Cypriot friends can distinguish Russian propaganda from the truth and make right conclusions regarding the real nature of the so-called Coordination Council of Russian Compatriots.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

On 15-16 June the first Summit on Peace in Ukraine will take place in Switzerland. We have invited all peace-loving nations, and each nation can really bring peace closer.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The Summit will build on the discussion on Ukraine\u2019s Peace Formula and will come as a first step of a high-level political start towards a comprehensive, just, and lasting peace in Ukraine based on the UN Charter and key principles of international law.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Today only the Ukrainian Peace Formula gives a real chance to stop the process of inflaming Russian aggression into a global conflict.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Only together can we stop Russia and put an end to its aggressive plans for the rest of Europe. For this to happen, it is important to continue supporting Ukraine and to not buying Russian lies.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
