Independence Day is the main public holiday in Ukraine. On this day, every Ukrainian celebrates with pride the fact of the adoption of the Act of Declaration of Independence оf Ukraine on August 24, 1991.
The very adoption of this Act put a formal аnd to many centuries of struggle for the independence and sovereignty of Ukraine.
