The Ukrainian community in Cyprus wholeheartedly supports the people of Israel
Dear Israeli Community in Cyprus,
We extend our heartfelt condolences and express our profound hope that the Israeli military will swiftly overcome the recent tragic attack. We greatly admire how, 75 years ago, the people of Israel, after centuries of suffering, united heroically to build one of the world’s most prosperous, technologically advanced, and beautiful states, founded on democratic principles.
Ukraine and Ukrainians have taken inspiration from Israel on the path to independence and the construction of a free and prosperous nation. Regrettably, there are still countries trapped in the bloody depths of the Middle Ages where human life holds no value. These nations bomb peaceful cities and brutally target civilians, including the most vulnerable populations such as women and children.
However, we firmly believe that the entire world must unite in safeguarding the values of democracy, respect, and human rights. The Ukrainian community in Cyprus wholeheartedly supports the people of Israel.
